Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Medical Assistant with at least one year of experience to join our autonomic specialty clinic within the Neuromuscular building. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, and eventually training in care coordination, including scheduling appointments and handling prior authorizations for medications. This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with no weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Rooming approximately 25 patients daily

• Taking patient vitals

• Assisting in patient care

• Learning and using EPIC software

• Scheduling appointments with multiple departments

• Handling prior authorizations for medications

• MA Certification/Diploma

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced Neuroscience center within a large hospital organization. The clinic typically handles 25 patients per day. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with no weekend shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00
