Summary:
The Finance Senior Business Systems Analyst will support the S4 HANA finance system and integration with OTC, PTP, Concur, banks, and other auxiliary systems within EPRI’s system landscape. This role will support the newly delivered S4 HANA solution and participate in all phases of implementation of new projects, enhancements, fixes, and upgrades in the specific functional area.
This is a highly visible functional position that requires the knowledge and hands-on support experience of enterprise-level application, system configuration, and administration across an enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
Post Go-Live support in the areas of Finance and Controlling. Participate in defects triage and resolution. Analyze and replicate production issues, propose resolution, and manage each ticket until the solution is deployed to the production system.
Update functional design specification, perform system configuration, work with developers to walk-through the required changes, create test plans, perform unit/integration/regression testing system functionalities. Perform quality assurance review with integration team and technical teams.
Participate in division level planning activities as directed by management. This includes working on new projects, continually identifying and supporting opportunities to improve systems and business processes, project management/applications development methodology and product reviews or pilot.
Plan and lead design workshops and collaboration meetings with business to transform requirements into functional design specifications, business process design documents, and business process procedures.
Design Finance and Treasury solutions, interfaces, and conversion objects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of integrated solutions.
Manage project deliverables by developing effective technology solutions.
Manage project scope, analyze project metrics, and communicate with senior management and project teams.
Perform end-user training on system functionalities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent experience configuring and implementing solutions in SAP S4 HANA Finance and Controlling.
Successful candidates must have prior experience in design and implementation of SAP financial business processes and solutions with focus on GL, AR, AP, Banking, Fixed Assets, Treasury and Controlling (Cost Center Accounting, Transfer Pricing, Internal Orders, Margin Analysis, Profit Center Accounting)
Experience in Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) is a plus.
Hands-On SAP experience in design and implementation of 3rd party solutions such as Concur, Supplier payment files, Banking solutions, HR, and Tax Solutions.
Experience in Finance legacy balance conversion, design, mapping, template design, data transformation and loading into S4 HANA.
Skills and Attributes:
Proficient in gathering business requirements, producing quality design, testing documentation, and implementing applicable applications/solutions and upgrades.
Ability to serve as the liaison between business users and external development partners as well as other EPRI teams.
Has strong analytical and hands-on experience in range of functional needs including functional knowledge of related business end to end processes; demonstrated by the ability to create original concepts/theories, provide alternatives, recommend solutions and implementation.
Hands-on experience in Data Migration tools such as SAP Data Services, LTMC, LSMW and good concept on how ETL tools work.
Ability to create basic queries and create reports for analysis.
Expertise in multi-tasking with the ability to work on and manage many projects in various stages of scoping, requirements, design, development, and data conversion.
Great interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work and produce required results without close supervision, strong work ethic and self-starting attitude.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools preferred.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
