Technical Product Manager, Lynx API Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Job ID: #70507 Pay Range: $73-84 ph (W2) Duration: 3 mos We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager with a strong technical background to lead the design, development, and launch of Lynx APIs for our Truck/Trailer and Container business units. As a key driver of the Lynx API strategy, the role will be responsible for shaping the product roadmap, working directly with engineering teams to build scalable, high-performance APIs for customers. Key Responsibilities: • Identify customer needs through workshops, focus groups, and research initiatives; share insights with key stakeholders and development professionals. • Define the product backlog by incorporating feedback from customer requirements, business stakeholders, marketing teams, and customer feedback loops. • Create epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to establish product requirements, and refine stories for Lynx API with the product development team. • Actively engage in the Agile methodology framework for product development and participate in Sprint planning and Scrum ceremonies associated with quarterly PI planning. • Utilize a prioritization framework to organize the product backlog. • Collaborate with Product Development, Design, QA, stakeholders, and other business teams to ensure the delivery of quality product features for Lynx API • Partner with Architecture and Design teams to address customer needs and develop technically feasible solutions. • Collect customer feedback to evolve and iterate on Lynx Fleet and Lynx API products. • Remain involved in all stages of the Lynx API product life cycle, defining and implementing refinements and upgrades to enhance product offering. • Triage and prioritize bugs or incidents to ensure product quality, working closely with Support and Development teams. • Drive product features for Lynx API and the API Developer Portal to meet the needs of Lynx customers. • Define key metrics to drive Lynx API product adoption in alignment with the product vision and monitor API metrics and user feedback for continuous improvement. • Document product release notes, product announcements, feature specifications, and user guides for customers and support teams. • Oversee the API documentation, developer portal experience, and self-service integration and onboarding guides to improve developer adoption. • Define and refine API standards, versioning, rate limiting, and access control policies. • Work closely with engineers to ensure APIs are well-architected, secure, and performant. • Lead API monetization strategies and pricing models for enterprise customers. • Ensure seamless integration of APIs with customers, partners, data platforms, and third-party applications. Required Qualifications: • A minimum of 5 years in a product management role, including at least one year in a leadership or supervisory position • A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related technical field • Proficiency with standard software tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Office) and platforms • Experience managing APIs for enterprise customers and SaaS integrations • Hands-on experience with the API development lifecycle, versioning, and best practices • Experience managing IoT and telematics SaaS platforms within the transportation industry • Practical experience with API gateways (Apigee and AWS API Gateway), API Developer portals, and API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman, OpenAPI) • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Over 5 years managing software project requirements and development using Agile methodology • Ability to work from the Atlanta office at least 2-3 days per week in a hybrid model Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
