Job Description:

Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area. Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area. Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area. Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

Essential Functions:

  • Candidate will be responsible for ensuring deliverables meet all performance requirements through manufacturing processes via production planning.

  • Experience working in the aerospace industry, on a production line for electronics.

  • Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing production planning using known procedures and processes.

  • Proficient at tracking assemblies, verifying shelf life and requirements of materials necessary to complete builds on schedule.

  • Must be able to do investigative work - may have to look through parts lists, inventory history, schedules, and drawings of assemblies.

  • May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify processes.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to manager/site leads. Must be able to work in fast-paced, schedule driven environment, without sacrificing product quality.

  • Able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects. Acute attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

  • Security Clearance required upon hire : Top Secret / SCI

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in inventory management and production planning.

  • Ability to work weekends and overtime if needed

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Intermediate computer skills – File/folder navigation, Microsoft word, and Microsoft Excel

  • Prior aerospace manufacturing knowledge

  • MRP and PDM knowledge
