Power MOSFET Characterization Intern

Job Description

• Perform wafer-level electrical and thermal characterization of discrete MOSFET prototypes using wafer probe station and Keysight B1505A power device analyzer.

• Perform electrical and thermal characterization of packaged MOSFET prototypes using Keysight B1506A power device analyzer and Keysight double pulse tester.

• Characterize MOSFET electrical performance in various power electronics application circuits.

• Compile measurement results for review by MOSFET device design and product development teams.

• Work closely with device engineers to develop and implement robust MOSFET characterization methodologies.

Qualifications

• Fundamentals of semiconductor devices

• Power MOSFET electrical and thermal parameters and ratings

• Power electronics circuits

• Power semiconductor device test and characterization equipment and methodologies:

• Lab Safety Procedures

• JEDEC and/or MIL-STD Test Standards for Discrete MOSFETs

• Manual or Semi-Automated Wafer Probe Station

• Semiconductor Parameter Analyzer / Curve Tracer

• Digital Oscilloscope

• Programmable Power Supply

• Function Generator

• LCR Meter

• Cabling

• Soldering

• Printed Circuit Board Design

• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• LabVIEW, Python or similar programming for data acquisition

• JMP statistical analysis software

Additional Information

US Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Pursuing degree or relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or relevant field
