Shifts rotating on a weekly basis: 7am-3pm and 8.30am-4.30pm

As a key member of our Cell Culture department at the Inchinnan site, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the exceptional work we do. We are looking for an ambitious QC Technician who is passionate about quality control and developing their cell culture experience. Responsibilities:

• Perform raw material and finished good release testing according to standard operating procedures, including multiple cell culture and virology testing methods and cell banking.

• Confidently follow laboratory schedules individually and ensure required tasks are completed on time.

• Support and maintain 5s, safety, environmental, and waste management program.

• Provide support for testing related to validation processes, technical investigations, and improvement initiatives.

• Maintain and complete product testing as per testing procedures and in accordance with ISO 13485.

• Actively participate in personal development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to Biology or equivalent.

• Proficient in both oral and written communication, facilitating successful collaboration with teams of different expertise and effectively conveying findings.

• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to excellence, ensuring that every task is completed to the highest standard.

• Ability to work collaboratively with all other departments within the operational department and maintain effective communication with external sources.

Work is done in a modern laboratory setting, giving you the necessary resources to succeed in your position. As part of your duties, you will be expected to handle tasks like stocking up, which may include moving boxes and pallets.
