Serum is a key product offering within Thermo Fisher's Cell Culture portfolio. Working in the global Serum supply chain team, you will be supporting planning productions, handling inventories and the supply chain to ensure availability of product to support global customer demand.

A day in the Life:

  • Design production plans and release work orders, based on raw material availability, working with manufacturing teams to agree schedule.

  • Allocate inventory, process intercompany sales orders and facilitate shipment plans to APJ region based on regional forecasts

  • Management of finished good inventories. Set appropriate stocking levels, actively review inventories, plan and complete intercompany stock movements, collaborating closely with global supply sites to ensure needs for Europe are met

  • Monitoring of incoming serum shipments to distribution centres, and allocation of inventory upon receipt

  • Support customer care and sales teams by providing timely availability dates.

  • Study and report out key order fulfilment metrics

Education

  • High school diploma or similar required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a supply chain role including production planning, scheduling, inventory management.

  • Detailed understanding of material flow, inventory management and distribution planning

  • Strong IT skills including Excel and ERP, ideally E1 and/or SAP

  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong capability to interface engagingly across multiple functions, and influence without authority.

  • Strong customer service focus.

  • Excellent interpersonal and connection skills (both oral and written) to carefully communicate critical information and follow issues through to a successful conclusion

  • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to the environment.

  • Prioritize and perform assignments independently to meet required timelines

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Works in an office environment, minimum 4 days per week.
