JOB DESCRIPTION:
An LPN promotes the residents' health, wellness, and illness prevention through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. An LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and handles a diverse range of tasks, including administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures, and documenting the clinical data of patients, among other duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients.
Working closely with others in a fast-paced, team environment under the direction of the Nurse Manager
Accountable for ensuring that competent care and safety are consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living experience.
Handles physician orders, administers medications, collects and maintains resident data, takes vitals, assists with resident comfort
Assure proper procedures are followed at all times
Communicate with residents and their families in an appropriate manner
REQUIREMENTS:
Current and valid license as an LPN in the state of New York required
Degree from an accredited school or nursing/nursing program is requiredABOUT US:
Absolut Care is comprised of five skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living facility in New York State, including: Absolut Care of Allegany in Allegany, Absolut Care of Aurora Park in East Aurora, Absolut Care of Gasport in Gasport, Absolut Care of Orchard Brooke in Orchard Park, Absolut Care of Three Rivers in Painted Post and Absolut Care of Westfield in Westfield.
