Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Details:

• Local candidates are preferred. Candidates out of area who are willing to relocate at own expense will be considered, but local candidates will be given top consideration.

• Manager is requiring 3-5 years of previous technical experience performing related job duties with facility infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, piping, etc). Candidate must be able to read 2D drawings ad schematics.

• This is an Engineering Technical Support tole. Candidate will maintain and troubleshoot facilities infrastructure (mostly HVAC, water systems, vacuum pumps, etc.). Will work closely with an Engineer. This is not a design role.

Job Requirements:

• Associates required in technical field, preferably in engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, etc.)

• 3-5 years’ experience in performing states duties/responsibilities

• Must have technical background (mechanical/chemical)

• Must be able to read CAD schematic drawings, i.e. Building architecture floor plan models

• Infrastructure background

• Daily/weekly walk down water systems, record information

• Weekly visit, settings check, etc.

• Basic trouble shooting, HVAC, water systems, process piping, other

• Execute drawing updates, file uploads, document updates, air balance sheet updates

• Assist with populating the water system spreadsheet we are currently developing (short term, will lead to PM activities once defined)

• Random checks when there is an issue & report back, these are the items that pop up during the day that an extra set of boots on the ground would be very helpful

• Vacuum pumps - collect data on the pumps to get them in Maximo, will lead to PM monitoring once defined

• Label systems that are missing labels

• Be the supplier point of contact for on-site visits

• Assist with small trades jobs, monitor trades after scope developed, be the communications point and report back to engineering

• Follow up on trades work during and after, place WOs, attend WPS trades planning meetings, preventative maintenance coordination

• Maintain spare parts inventory

• Must have excellent communication and follow up skills - this position will be interfacing with the Engineering team.

Pay Transparency:

• This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $29.46/hour - $39.29/hour.

• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).

• 12-months contract (08/05/2024 to 08/04/2025).

QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :

• Work Authorization : Green Card, US Citizen

• Preferred years of experience : 3+ Years

• Travel Required : No travel required

• Shift timings: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
