Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Facility Solutions Associate / Junior Facility Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves not only performing maintenance tasks but also managing schedules, training team members, ensuring coverage, and providing backup as needed. Work Schedule:
At least 40 hours per week with flexible shift options
Additional hours for backup coverage and commissionable work
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage work schedules for the maintenance team
Train and mentor team members, ensuring high standards of performance
Ensure consistent coverage for all shifts, providing backup as necessary
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest calls in hotel rooms, kitchens, casinos, back-of-house areas, and public spaces
Address plumbing issues, including unclogging drains and maintaining irrigation lines
Perform mechanical repairs on pumps, motors, and VFDs
Conduct drywall repairs, painting, touch-ups, and wallpaper work
Execute basic HVAC/R troubleshooting and repairs
Use a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting, including repairing and replacing ballasts, outlets, light fixtures, and switches
Understand and work with various voltage systems (120v, 208v, 277v, 480v)
Sell and manage additional services at the site, earning commissions
Requirements
1 year of management experience
5 years of maintenance experience
Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably in hotels or resorts
Strong knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
Proficiency in using a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting
Familiarity with different voltage systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to build and manage work schedules and train team members
Strong communication and leadership skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties using company-provided vehicles
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
