Central Paving Company of Paducah (4110 Clarks River Road, Paducah, KY 42003) needs 9 (nine) temporary (full-time,40 hours per week) Laborers in McCracken 03/17/2025-12/15/2025. Will offer a wage of $19.97/hr. Overtime may be available at $29.95. 7:00am-4:00pm M-F. Perform tasks involving physical labor at sites. May operate hand and power tools, hammers, tampers, and mixers. May clean and prepare sites, Shovel, Asphalt Rake, Preparing grade for drainage, Prep for Asphalt, and concrete. Extensive stoop and must be able to lift 60 lbs. No education required. One-month similar work experience required. Employer provides required tools/equipment at no charge. Employer provides transportation to and from all work sites. Optional employer arranged housing ava deduction for up to $50/week. For certified periods of employment lasting 120 days or more: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least t workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker subsistence. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another form of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence w $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages. Workers will be paid weekly. Employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by by the H-2B worker (excluding passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).
