Responsibilities

In keeping with the Dignity Health philosophy a Student Nurse Worker works under the direct supervision of a Preceptor. Specific services may be rendered by a student when these services are incidental to the course of study of one of the following: a) A student enrolled in a board-approved pre-licensure program or school; b) Taking a board-approved continuing education course or a post-licensure course; or c) Unlicensed graduate of an accredited nursing program. Student Nurse worker works under their individual scope of practice based on their license or certification if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum required course study of one of the following: a) A student enrolled in a board-approved pre-licensure program or school; b) Taking a board-approved continuing education course or a post-licensure course; or c) Unlicensed graduate of an accredited nursing program. Special Skills

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of hospital safety policies and health standards.

  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions in exact detail.

Pay Range

$25.25 - $36.61 /hour
