Job Description Summary
The Center for Supply Chain Excellence (CSCE) Coordinator will have a range of responsibilities related to supporting the strategic and tactical operations of the Center for Supply Chain Excellence, and is a critical player on the CSCE team, within the Farmer School of Business. The CSCE Coordinator is responsible for managing the details of day-to-day operations, including event management, coordination of speakers and visitors, student programming, corresponding financial flows, and internal and external communications. The Center for Supply Chain Excellence (CSCE) is a vital hub within the FSB Ecosystem, working with the Supply Chain and Operations Management program to foster student engagement, corporate partnerships, and cutting-edge research. For our corporate partners, the CSCE is a "one stop shop" for access to fresh talent, faculty research, and knowledge-sharing industry forums. The CSCE was started in 2020 to support a growing program in supply chain and operations management, which is consistently ranked in the Top 20 supply chain programs by Gartner. Job Description
Essential Duties: The Center for Supply Chain Excellence Coordinator's specific responsibilities include:
- Maintaining website updates, social media, videos/pictures, etc.
- Creating and distributing bi-annual newsletters, marketing materials, and annual reports.
- Creating and distributing event promotions and communications (internally and externally).
- Maintaining databases for alumni and contacts for CSCE initiatives.
- Maintaining financial records of giving accounts, invoices for CSCE partners, and tracking spending; managing reimbursement of expenses for travel, student organization events, hosting, etc.
- Providing support for programming and event management for programs such as the Supply Chain Roundtable, case competitions, student organization events, Supply Chain Executive Speaker series, class speakers, among others.
- Assist CSCE Director with travel planning and hosting alumni, Corporate Partners, donors, etc.; and other duties as assigned.
*Minimum Qualifications: * Required: Bachelor's degree in business, education, communications or closely related disciplines or 2 years of relevant professional experience. Consideration will be given to candidates with excellent attention to detail; ability to adapt and problem-solve independently; excellent written and oral communication skills; and experience in coordinating numerous different projects at one time. Additional consideration may be given to candidates with a basic understanding of supply chain and operations management; understanding of executive level outreach and fundraising activities; and willingness to work some irregular hours including evenings and weekends for special events.
