Position Overview:

The Sr. Director – IT Enterprise Delivery Procurement & Planning is responsible for supporting, planning, delivering and managing business applications as well as key strategic projects for the enterprise related to procure to pay, demand planning, supply planning and inventory management. The Director understands the processes performed by functional business areas and is proficient leading on practices in these functional business areas with business process reengineering and large-scale ERP IT deployment initiatives. The Director will be someone who can thrive in an exceptionally fast paced environment that has equally high expectations of its leaders. The Director will be someone who can see the “Big Picture”, and who can identify and execute projects and products that have a widespread, business-wide impact.

This strategic role will bridge the technical and business worlds and is accountable for driving and supporting the creation of internal business systems strategy for key business functions and the overall planning, execution and success of systems projects across the company.

The Director ensures the Enterprise Applications projects/portfolio are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner, incorporates effective change and risk management controls, and is responsible for the management of the demand management process within his/her area of responsibility. The individual in this role will have strong solutions, application, development and project/portfolio management experience and a general understanding of technical infrastructure. The director will be asked to lead key initiatives and must have the ability to navigate strategic and tactical challenges, strong business acumen, and capacity to lead several key initiatives in parallel working with large extended and cross functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership over the implementation of an enterprise suite of products and 3rd party applications that support the strategic direction of Revlon

  • Builds and manages relationships with senior leaders throughout the organization; creates cross-functional teams optimized for successful business execution

  • Ensures and is accountable for continuous strategic and operational alignment between all critical business systems and their user communities; serves as a link between internal users and customers and the Global SC organizationin the respective functional area

  • Able to manage geographical disperse teams

  • Builds and executes system roadmaps to support corporate strategy and goals endorsed by stakeholdersas requested

  • Lead team to define, document and standardize business needs, business processes, flows and diagram within the new ERP deployment

  • Work with business to prioritize user requirements and functional requirements

  • Write reports, documents and presents analyses, project status, risks and issues

  • Identifies tasks and interrelationships to evaluate functional and cross-functional requirements

  • Researches existing systems and procedures and make changes and improvise wherever necessary

  • Recommends solutions to identified problem

  • Participates in cross-functional, cross- discipline project teams to better leverage the ERP system

  • Supports the ERP initiatives in design, development and implementation of plans to translate enterprise informationsystem objectives into functional business systems

  • Identifies gaps and addresses them actively in collaboration with the project team

  • Coordinates information/data changes that occur as part of system life cycle to ensure consistency

  • Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion

  • Creates and effectively manages the Enterprise Applications budget within the area of responsibility and provides input in the administration of related budgets items

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice on key decision and strategy for the business

  • Supports and creates development plans and project documents as part of the governance model

  • Responsible for providing technical leadership to the business organization

  • Support complex systems implementations or can be call upon to lead specific areas of an implementation.

  • Functions as consulting resource on system development plans and issues as required by management

  • Works with business clients to resolve process and system issues

  • Reviews all cross functional requirements and makes recommendations as they relate to the all regions.

Experience & Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline or equivalent from accredited college or university (or an equivalent combination of education and business experience)

  • 10+ years of IT and/or business/industry employment

  • 5+ years minimum ERP experience in SAP and/or JD Edwards required experience

  • 3+ full life-cycle ERP implementations

  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically during the implementation project phases

  • Must have hands-on SAP implementation experience in multiple projects with strong knowledge in:

  • Design & architecting solutions in SAP materials management/logistics execution functionality

  • (MRP/Capacity Planning), requisition, purchase order, inventory management, material valuation, delivery processing (inbound/outbound), shipment processing & shipment costing, subcontracting, vendor consignment, and integration with 3PL warehouse solutions

  • Should also have hands on exposure to integration of MM/Logistic execution functions with other modules like PP, QM, FI, CO, and SD

  • Strong background and working proficiency in SAP Ariba

  • Guided Buying, Supply Chain Collaboration, Commerce Automation, Supplier Life Cycle & Performance) and their integration into ECC

  • Strong collaborative skills to work across multiple stakeholder groups to translate business strategies, initiatives, goals and objectives into ERP project proposals

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and break down complex business problems into easily understood communications

  • Leadership quality including the ability to motivate, inspire, counsel and facilitate individuals and teams to take responsibility and accountability for the goals
