 Duties & Responsibilities: âLead, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities. Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from conception to deployment. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives. Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance on model training and validation using various machine learning techniques on structured/unstructured data, including imagery, text, and graphs. Support and oversee the deployment of models in a cloud-based Linux environment. Ensure the quality and performance of AI models presented to clients and prospects. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and incorporate best practices into the team's workflow.

  Requirements and Qualifications[]{#Hlk142289191}[]{#Hlk142304825}:  Master's Degree or higher in machine learning, science, math, statistics, engineering field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of related modeling building experience. Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring junior data scientists. Experience in Deep Learning techniques, e.g., Transformers, LLM, VLM, vision transformers, transfer learning, LORA, PEFT, CNN, or NLP. Experience using python and/or C/ C++ with pytorch, jax, Scikit-learn, mlflow, hugging face. Experience working in a cloud-based Linux environment. Experience using distributed computing a plus, e.g. DDP, FSDP, deep speed. Publications or open-source contributions a plus. Strong problem solving and analytical ability. Strong communication skills. Ability to adapt to new concepts quickly and efficiently. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Demonstrated knowledge of statistical techniques. Strong working knowledge of multiple analytic development tools, statistical tools, and programming languages. Demonstrated experience innovating and extracting insights from multiple data types including unstructured data.
