Job Title: Electrical DesignerJob Description

We are seeking an Electrical Designer with 3-7 years of experience in BIM design, capable of annotations and spooling. The candidate will provide design in Revit for engineering services on design-build and/or bid-build projects of a highly technical nature across various sectors, including industrial, data centers, commercial, government, and energy.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design services in Revit for design-build and bid-build projects.

• Perform annotations and spooling within BIM designs.

• Model and coordinate clashes in Revit.

• Conduct QA/QC of shop drawings prior to release for construction.

• Familiarize and comply with the National Electrical Code for the safe installation of electrical equipment.

Essential Skills

• 3-7 years of experience in electrical MEP design.

• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.

• Experience in circuit design and electrical design.

• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform QA/QC checks.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment with occasional fieldwork. While in the field, candidates may work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level can vary. The company culture includes a yearly holiday party, weekly ice cream truck in the summer, casual Fridays, and donuts delivered by vendors on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Continuing education opportunities are also provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $45.67/hr.
