Robert Half has a new direct-hire opportunity for a Accounts Payable Supervisor in Owings Mills, MD. This is a newly created role due to company growth and will oversee a small team of AP professionals. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact in a large company environment that offers room for advancement.

• Manage team of accounts payable professionals

• AP oversight and review

• Daily AP reporting

• Vendor management

• Training and development of team members

• Developing and streamlining processes

• Assist with the month end close process

• Partner closely with other areas of accounting

• Liaison between accounting team and external vendors

• Manage department policies and procedures

• Special projects as assigned

  Requirements

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Experience in Vendor Management

• Proven management and leadership abilities

• Experience in Training & Development of team members

• Knowledge and experience in Coding Invoices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred, but not required

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulatory standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
