Partner with the Finance, FP&A, and COE Analytics teams to validate numbers and calculations to ensure consistent reporting across the enterprise. Develop/Migrate 100+ SQL scripts to SnowSQL contributing to production-grade data pipelines to update Power BI dashboard. Develop reports for financial analysis, production, data and process control using Tableau/Power BI, SQL, SSAS, Excel, and other tools that access the firm’s financial databases. Build a suite of BI dashboards (Control Tower) and develop SQL scripts, tables, and macros and data pipelines that are relied on daily by the dozens of cross-functional teams.Perform in-depth analysis using critical thinking skills to provide accurate financial insights in a format that is useful and meaningful to the audience. Design and develop Business Intelligence reports and Dashboards using Power BI to visualize insights, to help stakeholders to understand the compliance of the infrastructure located across the globe.Coordinate and review monthly plant level reporting packages. Collaborate with and support the management team in evaluating opportunities. Conduct Statistical Analyses and modelling, exploratory analysis, and metric development to uncover data insights and inform key decisions. Deliver data insights and drive for adoption through tools (e.g. dashboards, self-serve reporting), memos and presentations.Develop scalable data pipelines to collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources; prototype, and production in metrics and models.Execute duties using tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX. Maintain, test, and execute updates to ETL pipelines with dbt/PySpark/SSIS generating data tables with several million rows of invoice data, eligibility data and metrics tables. Drive efficiency across the teams by driving standardization and creating a single source of truth. Understand the data requirements to support all the key business and finance cycles and provide data analytics to support, creating efficiencies across the teams through a standardized approach. Continually review current data and analytics capability, understand usage and use the insights to inform the go forward action plan whether that be report changes, replacement or training requirements.Support business critical ad hoc data and analytics requirements, driving a common understanding of what is required and driving to solutions. Simplify the complex data and inspire through storytelling and excellent communication skills. Provide high-quality narrative of performance all up for executive meetings.Conceptualize and design new approaches to how financial data is collected and evaluated to impact future outcomes and decisions. Track, measure, monitor the business and drive clear business insights, that allow the Finance and Business Orgs identify and critically assess investment opportunities optimizing between margin & share to drive profitable sustainable growth engines and shape the future of growth strategy. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Ensure data accuracy and reliability by creating data cleansing and validation processes. Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards. Stay abreast latest Power BI features and best practices. Guide the integration of various data sources and BI toolsEnsure the scalability, performance and maintainability of the entire BI solution. Create conceptual, logical and physical data models to support BI and other data-driven initiatives.Design, implement and automate ETL processesExtract data from various sources, transform it (clean, enrich and aggregate) and load it into data warehouses or other target systems.
