Semcac Student Onsite Support Specialist in Owatonna, Minnesota
Working in collaboration with the Teachers and Team Members to implement and model support for the identified at-risk children. Working closely with the Inclusion Coordinator and the Mental Health Professional to create, implement, and follow through with support for identified children. Communicating with the family/guardians alongside the teacher, of the identified at-risk child. Supporting Head Start-wide Policies and Procedures implementation of Behavior Guidance Support, including modeling Conscious Discipline, which encourages self-control, self-direction, self-esteem, and cooperation.
