Position Overview: Ensures that preventative maintenance is safety completed on all front end machinery at the appropriate intervals to minimize unscheduled downtime. Duties And Responsibilities: Recognize and correct unsafe conditions, guarding, procedures, or personnel actions. Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on all F.E. equipment as required. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all front end production and support equipment, in a safe and timely manner. Train Front End Maintainers on equipment operation and maintenance requirements. Perform periodic machinery testing/inspection to determine alignment, wear, and operating efficiency. Complete required documentation on machine maintenance and test results. Assist in other areas as needed to maintain smooth can flow through the plant. Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and machines and practice proper safety procedures. Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned Ability to train others and answer questions on machinery. Ability to work independently and with a team. Strong problem-solving and trouble shooting skills. Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Basic knowledge of how electrical components work.
