Description As Gopher Sport's Distribution and Logistics Manager you'll ensure that the company's customers receive the right product in undamaged condition at the right location in the shortest amount of time for the lowest possible total fulfillment cost. Specific responsibilities include: * Correct product is selected for each order * Orders ship in the fewest and smallest boxes possible * Orders for stocked product received before 4PM leave warehouse the same day order is received * Orders for stocked products arrive at customer location on or before transit time standards * All shipments arrive at customer undamaged * Installation and any other special handling of customer's orders is executed according to company standards * Distribution Center Leadership utilizing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) of Leadership, Management, Accountability (LMA) * Outbound transportation costs are managed within annual company goals * Inventory arrives at our warehouse as quickly and as inexpensively as possible * Inventory is accurately received, clean, undamaged, counted, and stored in the best location * Department operations are optimized and responsibilities are crystal clear * Reduce lines returned or replaced due to "Poor Quality/Defective Issue" * Optimize and maintain a safe, comfortable, clean Owatonna facility Demonstrate corporate core values to support our culture: * We create delighted fans * We are dependable and trustworthy * We are passionate about quality and excellence * We move fast to innovate and improve Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in warehouse operations management. 3. Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills. 4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities 5. Proficiency in warehouse management software and tools 6.
