We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive individual who is eager to learn and grow in the field of Surface Mount Technology (SMT). As an Entry-Level SMT Technician, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to support our electronic assembly operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in manufacturing and gain hands-on experience with SMT equipment and processes.

salary: $18 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 5 AM - 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas

• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems

• Experience with INDUSTRY SOLDERING - Experience with soldering surface mount (SMT) and through hole components to PWBs

• Able to identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, components and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation
