Our client is looking for a Sr. Technical Product Manager to support the end-to-end delivery of a highly visible project within their IT Finance org. Ideally, this candidate will come from a technical background and know how to drive, communicate, and engage with technical development teams. Most importantly in this role, is effective communication skills alongside a deep understanding of tax software in an IT world. You will be supporting a large transformation away from SAP and in house systems and integrating their 6-finance workstreams into Oracle. Day to day responsibilities will include:

 Leading overall technology strategy and governance for the product, in collaboration with technical and architectural stakeholders

 Defines and communicates a shared understanding of the objectives of an initiative & its scope.

 Drives to decision on what scope is in vs out

 Assists the product owner to sequencing deliverables & work products. (i.e. features)

 Ensures adherence to cost guardrails by balancing capacity, resourcing, scope, and deadlines.

 Balancing technical needs, ongoing improvements & stability, while lowering costs

 Ensuring continuous technical delivery of most valuable product capabilities, across the workflow managing risks and dependencies

 Collaborates with impacted platforms to ensure an aligned solution approach in a high-level solution deliverable.

 Provides options to achieve iterative delivery across a re-usable architectural framework, with built in quality.

 Oversees the decided outcomes of architectural delivery & contributing to acceptance criteria.

 Key participant in all planning & progress related ceremonies for which their solutions are involved.

 Assists in the development of HLSD and technical specifications

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of relevant working experience coming from a Product Management or Product Owner background.

 Strong Technical background, either working in IT, or previously worked in Software development

 Experience with Vertex and Oracle

 Strong understand of Agile and experience working in an Agile environment

 Experience with Tax platforms for large enterprise companies

 Strong written and verbal communication skills- ability to present to Leadership

 Experience leading the overall technology strategy and governance for a product, in collaboration with technical and architectural stakeholders

 Comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast paced environment Background in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Finance tools is a plus null
