As a Consulting Relations Manager, you will be pivotal in helping to shape and execute our strategy for building and nurturing relationships with consultants and brokers. In this role, your will work closely with the Sr. Director of Consulting Relations to enhance Ovia Health’s presence and reputation within the consulting and brokerage community. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust relationships with key consulting firms, driving lead generation, and ensuring alignment between consultants' needs and our strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include creating new consultant relationships, managing existing consultant relationships, and coordinating/participating in industry events that highlight Ovia Health’s unique value propositions. You will also collaborate with our sales and client success teams to facilitate seamless transitions and support business growth. Your ability to track interactions, gather feedback, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this role.

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Consultant Relations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Sr. Director of Consulting Relations to develop and execute Ovia’s strategy for consulting and industry relationships.

  • Create and implement strategies to establish new connections with consultants and enhance existing relationships with local and regional consultant and brokerage offices.

  • Organize meetings with consultants to showcase Ovia Health’s unique offerings and generate interest and enthusiasm.

  • Provide strategic advice to effectively position Ovia Health for lead generation opportunities.

  • Track and record all consultant interactions and activities using systems and sales tools.

  • Partner with the sales team to boost lead generation through activities such as lunch and learns, local events, conferences, and one-on-one meetings with consultants and brokers.

  • Collect and relay feedback from consultants and brokers to internal teams, highlighting solution needs, gaps, and opportunities.

  • Support client success by engaging in meetings with brokers as needed.

  • Coordinate with sales and client success teams to ensure a smooth transition and support for new or existing business growth.

  • Maintain an effective plan for market penetration.

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Consultant Relations and Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) to prepare responses to Consultant RFIs.

  • Update and maintain external-facing tools and systems with the latest Ovia information, and direct RFP requests to the appropriate Regional Sales Directors.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience collaborating with benefit and HR consultants or working as a consultant/broker.

  • Extensive network and established relationships with top benefits and HR consulting firms across various regions and industry sectors.

  • Demonstrated success in generating and cultivating sales leads through consultants and brokers.

  • In-depth understanding of the employer’s perspective and the benefit purchasing decision-making process.

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve common objectives.

  • Strong presentation and written communication skills, capable of delivering compelling pitches and presentations on complex topics.

  • Proven history of building and maintaining relationships with consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to set and achieve ambitious goals, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

Remote: 100%

Travel 50%

Must reside within the states listed and have reasonable access to travel to assigned market territory

Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000/year

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
