We are currently looking for aBranch Manager, AVPto join our Retail Banking Team. The Branch Manager will oversee the branches located in Mission Farms and Leawood. This position will be \@Office, working 100% in the office.

What youll do

Deposit Growth

  • Lead bankers to meet and exceed performance metrics and customer service targets
  • Manage branch portfolios focusing on deposit growth and customer retention
  • Identify new business leads through community outreach activities, business partnerships and expanding existing internal relationships
  • Build relationships with internal and external customers while ensuring consistent delivery of company objectives

Customer Experience

  • Lead and deliver an elevated customer experience that meets nbkc standards for every customer
  • Research, identify and resolve complex customer problems / issues while providing the highest levels of customer service
  • Ensure a consistent customer experience is being delivered at each branch

Team Development and Engagement

  • Coach and develop associates to elevate skill sets to exceed performance objectives based on individual, branch and company goals
  • Ensure that team members are engaged with and enabled to be successful in their roles

Compliance and Operational Efficiency

  • Recognize and evaluate risk, exercise discretion and handle sensitive and confidential issues
  • Responsible for opening, closing and staffing of facilities during branch hours with optimum staffing
  • Responsible for branch security and meeting compliance standards
  • Ensure team members are in compliance with all applicable procedural and regulatory rules and guidelines
  • Travel required resulting in 50% of time spent in each branch location of responsibility

What youll bring

  • High school diploma or GED Required; Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • 5+ years of retail banking experience with increasing responsibility including 3+ years of supervisory experience OR 1+ years of nbkc supervisory experience
  • Exceptional coaching and development skills
  • Exceptional judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Proven sales and business development skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services products, regulations, and compliance
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
