L3Harris Senior Supervisor, Inventory Management in Ottawa, Ontario

About your next Challenge as a Senior Supervisor, Inventory Management :

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Lab/Manufacturing Manager to join our team at our Manufacturing/Integration Lab located in Ottawa, Ontario. This position will be responsible for overall Operation, manufacturing and integration team.

What will you do:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Technologist and Engineers;

  • Overseeing Shipping & Receiving, Manufacturing and integration team Prepare and oversee budgets and schedule for the group;

  • Develop and evaluate all processes and operations of the production line;

  • Identify areas of the system that need improvement;

  • Ensure the efficient utilization of materials, labor, and machinesEstablish and maintain best practice standards;

  • Monitor performance and quality objectives of Production processLiaise with design engineering regarding product specifications;

  • Create reports and documents as needed;

    Required Skills and Experiences:

    Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics, and employees within a team. Typically has strong knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization. Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience

    Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance.

  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
