Schedules and performs equipment repairs in response to requests from location manager. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* * _ * Collecting merchandise from bagging area and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay. Receiving and documenting material for delivery or return. Keeping an inventory of all materials and merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse. Provide a daily condition report of equipment, facilities and inventories. Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials or merchandise and immediately notify the supervisor. Ensuring that all the materials and merchandise are safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping. Managing all materials and merchandise with appropriate care. Understand and utilize automated bagging systems and related robotics. Schedules maintenance and repairs of equipment as requested. Maintains an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance. Maintains service records of each piece of equipment to document a quality maintenance program. Responsible for housekeeping of the work area. * _OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS* May be required to provide backup to drivers in the Energy and Crops Departments. Performs all other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS* Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years or more of related work experience. Required skills may include fabrication, cutting, welding and hydraulic troubleshooting/repair. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Normally requires an acceptable CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements. Frequently exposed or required to: * Extreme weather conditions /(hot, cold, wet, etc.)/ * Noisy conditions * Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures * May be required to work at varying heights * Confined spaces * Lift 51-70 pounds * Required to push heavy objects Ability to work extended hours.
