Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently, efficiently.

• Operates equipment related to the position including trailered CCTV Unit, Lateral Launcher, Mini Camera.

• Perform circle check on vehicle before leaving the yard

• Set up and take down all equipment, traffic control and other tools, could be in areas such as a flat road way, in a tower, vessel, etc.

• Follow operation procedures as per NASSCO Certification o Completes all paperwork including manifests, drivers log, JSA's and any other reports as may be required.

• Complete dispatched tasks in an efficient and timely manner.

• Communicates to competent persons any abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the process, product, machine, equipment, workplace or other.

• Work as a team.

• Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position, work safely and observe all safety procedures.

• Promotes safety through own actions and work habits. Reports all accidents and near misses, involving self, company vehicles or other job personnel to the supervisor immediately.

• Cleans up the work area after work is complete.

• Performs all other tasks as may be requested by his supervisor

Qualifications

Knowledge,Skills and Experience :

• Specific knowledge and experience is an asset

• NASSCO-certified

• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities listed above, along with lifting/pulling up to 75 pounds (handling camera unit, opening manholes.), climbing in and out of trucks and ladders, walking around the client's site/job area.

• Understand verbal and written instructions;

• Basic math and safety training skills;

• Excellent Customer Service Skills and positive attitude.

• Mechanical aptitudes.

• Teamwork oriented, shows initiative; responsible, able to react, to be precise; methodical.

• Organized, must be able to work with established procedures, guidelines and under immediate supervision.

• Learning aptitude.

• Good judgment.

• Communication aptitude.

• Good coordination.

• Ability to react efficiently (to maintain an efficient service and production).

• Pass a medical and/or drug test.

• Medically and physically capable of performing duties while wearing a respirator.

• Current G class drivers license.

• Must be able to complete a satisfactory road test with Veolia' personnel observing.

• Clean Driver's Abstract.

• Excellent attendance record.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in adverse work conditions, rain, snow, very hot, very cold.

• Capable of working long shifts under adverse conditions (up to 14 hours a day).

• Working in hazardous atmospheres such as Confined Spaces, Warehouses, Chemical Buildings, etc.

• Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
