The Manufacturing Assistant is responsible for loading, driving, and unloading materials to meet customer and company needs. This role involves laying out, cutting, and grooving pipes to fulfill customer expectations and building small assemblies for customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed customer expectations by providing a positive customer experience.
- Accurately use a tape measure.
- Read and interpret weld layout and hanger sheets.
- Safely move and handle pipe materials.
- Utilize saws and grooving machines for processing pipe.
- Perform assembly operations efficiently.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the foreman.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
- Conduct preventive machine maintenance and perform minor repairs.
- Use care in handling all materials and products.
- Operate all material handling equipment safely while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Exhibit regular and predictable attendance.
- Work safely and uphold safety standards.
