Job Description:

Location: Otopeni

This position supports the protection of UPS assets, facilities, equipment, and grounds in Romanian facilities. He/She assists with maintaining facility environmental compliance, conveyor system reliability, housekeeping, and facility safety. The BaSE Specialist manages small projects and oversees the work of outside contractors. This position creates and drafts package handling systems. He/She drafts conveyor design options using computerized drawing software (i.e., AutoCAD), computes cost estimates of design alternatives, and documents the design process.

• Supports Conveyor System Maintenance

• Supports Facility Maintenance and Housekeeping Operations

• Supervises Outsourcing

• Supervises Small BaSE Projects

• Assists with Maintaining Compliance

• Provides Compliance Training with Guidance

• Drafts Feasibility Studies

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets

• Manages Project Documents and Fund Allocations

• Creates and Modifies drawings using AutoCAD Software

• Monitor energy usage

• Budget Management

• Conducts Research & Detail Orientation

• Equipment Repair Management

• Estimation and Forecasting Knowledge

• Facility Design, Equipment, and Grounds Maintenance

• Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Knowledge

• Physical Assets Management

• Project Planning & Management

• Vendor/Supplier Management

Education:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) –preferred

• Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD)
