Description
Principal Accountabilities:
Knowledge in all aspects of the electronic medical record, including training and monitoring for compliance and timely follow-up
Dissemination of any pertinent updates to staff clinical
Oversee clinical schedule to ensure adequate provider support
Review and approve employee electronic time cards
Bi-monthly clinical staff meeting with action register outlining specific tasks and timeline for completion
Monitor and track annual and new employee physicals. Assist CA/LPN assigned to do the physicals when needed
Monitoring monthly Crash Cart checks including inventory, update meds, dispose of expired meds and supplies
Oversees the quality assurance processes for compliance with regulatory standards and facilitates prompt action when deficiencies are identified
Oversees medical supply inventory and ordering
Involved in patient education and facilitate training when needed
Assist in interviewing, orienting, and disciplinary process of clinical staff
Completing annual performance evaluation on clinical staff
Be knowledgeable and enforce Joint Commission standards
Staff training in accordance with company policies and procedures and mandatory in services. Completing annual performance evaluation on clinical staff
Facilitate chart audits when needed and completes quarterly peer reviews
Work with Management Team to meet mandates by Oswego County Health Department, NYS Department of Health, Joint Commission, Bureau of Primary Care and Health Resource and Services Administration
Audit abnormal pap smear report and follow-up to ensure quality patient care was rendered
Assist with and promote all processes associated with the Coleman initiative
Promoting Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives
Any other clinical duties and responsibilities as requested by management and administration
Requirements
Knowledge/ Education Requirements:
A. Valid NYS Registered Nurse License.
B. Experience with supervising, time management and workload, computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and electronic medical record, knowledge of supply order/purchasing, risk management, quality improvement and infection control.
C. Must be keenly aware of importance of confidentiality in all aspects.
Salary Description
$66,820.00-$78,520.00/year depending on experience
