What You Will Do
Sets up equipment and welds parts, using gas welding equipment.
Assists the Supervisor with employee activities. This includes evaluation and discipline, Corrective Action
Request responses.
Keeps informed of any changes and new procedures throughout the day to stay on production schedule.
Analyze and resolve work situations and assist production workers in solving work problems.
Communicates information, assists in resolving problems and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Assists the Supervisor in directing the work activities of the welders.
Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality and Company policies, procedures
and recognized practices.
- Every employee is expected to support the GFS Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with our
Quality System Manual and Quality Procedures.
What You Have to Offer
High school diploma or GED.
One-year certificate from a technical school preferred (years of experience may substitute degree).
5 or more years of experience in manufacturing.
1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.
