Site Material Logistics Professional

Siemens Mobility is seeking a dedicated Site Material Logistics Professional to take control of our warehousing activities in Norway. The role aims to manage and develop our third-party logistics provider contractor and overseeing the availability of spare parts in customer warehouses across Norway.

Main Tasks:

  • Acts as the main contact point for warehousing topics for all our Siemens projects as well as the logistics contractor

  • Overseas and reports on supplier development, warehouse processes and cost

  • Coordinates warehouse visits, return shipments and equipment rework in various projects

  • Handles deviations for in- and outbound shipments and storage

  • Processes returns and related shipment bookings

  • Coordinates and executes inventory counts in all storage locations

  • Ensures that Siemens HSE standards are implemented and quality-related topics (e.g., audit findings) are followed up

Requirements:

  • Education within supply chain management (Bachelor/Master)

  • Proven track record with warehouse management

  • Experience with process developments and implementation of improvement measures

  • Willingness to travel: Weekly day trips to central warehouse in greater Oslo area & travels to regional warehouses as requested

  • Proficient in a Scandinavian language and English

  • Driver license class B
