Green Mountain has exclusively partnered with CBRE to staff our new data center site in Hamar. We need numerous positions within Operations to support what will become Norway’s largest data center. YOUR CHALLENGES
This is a customer & team facing role to provide business administration and financial service to our Norwegian management team. With your cross-functional support you will contribute to the continued growth and success of Norwegian business by providing comprehensive and flexible administration service to our Site Managers, Regional Manager and Finance Manager in Norway.
Your key responsibilities in detail:
Supervise and train the local contract supports on site
Ensure that all supplier contracts within their allocated sphere of responsibility are negotiated with suppliers on price, lead time, quality and service for multiple services and commodities
Take a lead on supplier contract negotiations/reviews
Be a role model to the team and support in their development
Support the technical and infrastructure teams
Utilizing defined systems, raises purchase orders, approves invoices for payment and manages the closure of Purchase orders as part of the full management of the purchase order cycle
Identify and help drive implementation of savings opportunities to ensure customer and GWS financial savings targets are maximized
Assists sourcing and account team along with other internal customers on resolution of problems with contracted suppliers
Conduct all meetings with internal and external customers in a professional manner using a high degree of persuasive ability, professional knowledge, tact, good judgment and diplomacy
Maintains contract files as required by company policy, procedures and compliance
Understand, anticipate and deliver customer (internal and external) needs while building effective relationships whilst optimizing contract performance
Positively respond to both our internal and external customers (often in a matrix environment) through effective communication and personal accessibility/credibility
Support the CBRE preferred supplier programme, through the identification and conversion of suppliers onto the programme as per the divisional targets in order to improve the overall performance of the supplier on your account and within the wider CBRE business
Ensure integrity of financial transactions for contract maintain WIP, OPO’s and Debt to within agreed contractual and company defined parameters
Ensure the raise of PO, payments of invoices and billing to client in set timeframe
Attend and actively participate in weekly finance meeting with Contract Manager/Sub-contractors
YOUR PROFILE
Relevant education / qualification with focus on finance and administration
Experience of working in a fast paced, operational service environment
Leading experience and the ability to manage diverse teams in flat hierarchies
Organised but flexible attitude with the openess to break new grounds to challenge inefficiencies
Business fluency in both English and local language
Capable of working in a matrix environment
Results/ task orientated, with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Commitment to continuous improvement
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
Calm manner, able to work under pressure and with changing demands and priorities
Customer focus skills with a passion for customer service
Effective communication skills enabling the individual to work with clients, suppliers, and staff at all levels
Strong background in invoicing and controlling
Excellent capabilities to manage and organize the monthly reports
Demonstrate ability to work close with different teams and improve the output
