Job Title: Shop Helper
Job Description
This candidate will be fabricating and assembling metal framework of doors and windows for buildings by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
Fabricating and assembling metal frameworks of doors and windows for buildings.
Installing hardware, such as locks, lock sets, hinges, and storefront aluminum extrusions.
Developing layouts and planning the sequence of operations.
Performing layout and preparing framing.
Setting up and operating fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, radial arm saws, drill presses, mitre saws, and milling machines.
Sawing, hammering, and grinding workpieces to cut, bend, and straighten metal.
Drilling holes and fastening material together with screws.
Safely operating basic power tools.
Essential Skills
Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and tape measure.
Prior carpentry and/or metal assembly experience.
Ability to apply quality control standards to products.
Must be able to meet the attendance requirements.
Ability to work professionally with others.
Able to follow instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- No medical or certificates required.

Work Environment
You will be working at the client and paint warehouse located in Oshkosh, with very minimal travel required to install the metal door/window frames in the Oshkosh area.
