The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following: Oversees the Shipping and Receiving, Quality, and Chemistry teams. Performs duties involving a paint finish, product rework, sanding and general clean up. Responsible for Chemistry maintenance, management, and ordering. Performs inspection and quality checks using properly calibrated measuring devices and completes quality records Participates in advanced product quality planning and prepares Product Part Approval Process documentation to the customers. Maintains the systems for control of non-conforming materials. Manages hazardous waste programs Promotes and participates on continuous improvement teams as needed. Performs internal audits, maintains documentation and records. Qualifications: Knowledge and demonstrated ability in quality engineering principles, statistical analysis, data correlation, technical report preparation, and quality improvement methodologies. Ability to establish and communicate clear priorities and to influence others to support and act on those priorities. Ability to manage, lead, motivate, develop, and direct people as they work and identify the best people for the job. Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate results and needs across all levels. Knowledge or experience working within chemistry or paint teams preferred.
