JOB REQUIREMENTS: HOURS: 20-25 hrs/wk during school; 40 hrs/wk during breaks We work with businesses and organizations of all kinds to provide them with personalized promotional products. As a human resources intern, you\'ll be responsible for recruiting, employment file maintenance, benefits administration, report generation and other projects. As a human resources intern, you\'ll learn various human resources functions, which will lead you to work without close supervision, produce quality work, and handle periodic special projects independently. The environment may involve a high level of varied activity, along with frequent interruptions. These skills will prepare you for your future career in human resources. Here\'s what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for consistently meeting and maintaining performance objectives and/or goals. Recruiting Duties Prepare and coordinate postings of job openings with internal and external sources, including our 4imprint intranet site, external website, and various other recruiting sites. Maintain online applicant tracking system, along with various spreadsheets to ensure accurate recordkeeping of interview and onboarding paperwork. Schedule and conduct a high volume of phone interviews and coordinate face-to-face interviews, handling multiple candidates and roles concurrently. Return phone calls and emails from applicants inquiring about job openings or the status of a resume. Send out email correspondence to candidates who are not chosen. Help maintain and coordinate name badges and various paperwork for new and temporary associates. Benefit Duties File a wide variety of forms into personnel/medical files, traveling to our Downtown Office on a weekly basis. Administer tuition reimbursement program. Assist associates with questions regarding payroll, technology, and benefit issues or interpreting company policy. Assist with distributing benefit, payroll and other information to associates via posters, PowerPoint, and other modes of communication. Assist in reconciling monthly invoices.
