THE ROLE

As an Electrical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2025, your responsibility will be to work along-side Oshkosh Electrical Engineers, assisting with projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering, all while making a tangible impact on the world around you.

YOUR IMPACT

As an Electrical Engineering Intern your experience may include:

  • Support Electrical Engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems development

  • Select parts or components for quality conscious design, i.e., weight, cost, reliability, and ease of manufacturing

  • Use 3D modeling software (CATIA and/or SolidWorks) integrated with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses for trucks

  • Follow project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production build and provide technical assistance

  • Generate bill of materials

  • Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related degree

  • Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the duration of the summer 2025 internship. Summer Housing is available to interns whose permanent address is greater than 50 miles from their work location.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
