Description We are looking for a skilled Purchasing Production Scheduler to join our team in Osceola, Arkansas. In this role, you will be expected to create and manage production schedules, assess sales and order trends, and maintain effective communication within the team and with customers. This position plays an integral part in our operations within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage production schedules, ensuring a minimum of 8 weeks advance planning

• Regularly review and adapt production based on the analysis of the open order report

• Adjust production schedules as needed to uphold safety stock levels or to meet specific customer orders

• Update forecasts in the ERP system as conveyed by the sales team

• Notify the team about any changes in the schedule through email communication

• Send out the schedule for the upcoming week every Friday before 10AM

• Participate in weekly customer meetings as necessary

• Share weekly attainment reports with customers and the sales team as needed

• Keep track of weekly and monthly production attainment reports

• Evaluate sales and order trends for core items and modify safety stocks as required Requirements • Possess at least 1 year of experience in a related role

• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning software and systems

• Demonstrated knowledge of buying processes in a production environment

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service

• Proven ability in coordinating schedules within a fast-paced environment

• Capability to schedule appointments efficiently and effectively

• Ability to analyze trends and make data-driven decisions

• Proficiency in sales analysis and reporting

• Understands and has experience in sales and operations planning
