You will be part of our Road Logistics team, adding your customs expertise + skills to the delivery of customer + operational excellence.

Your Role

You will be responsible for the smooth + compliant operations of all customs-related activities while keeping abreast of updated customs related regulations. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:

Your Responsibilities

• To submit customs declaration form(s) + complete related activities as required by the government, facilitating timely clearance of all shipments.

• To perform end-to-end customs activities, including but not limited to checking of documents, entering data in relevant systems, inspections of goods, clearance + third-party documents.

• To oversee loading + unloading activities, escalate any defects to relevant parties + follow up with necessary surveys.

• To respond to customs-related inquiries + resolve disputes, including tariff codes between customers + regulatory officers.

• To create standard operating procedures, identify business risks + provide trainings whenever required.

• To attend to customs examinations + ensure relevant certifications are valid.

• To monitor day-to-day performance of customs-related suppliers.

• To arrange for product re-classification with customs ruling department if required.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Your strong communication skills + knowledge of the customs processes, along with your customer + stakeholder relationships will be the key to your success.
