Human Resources Generalist is a Full-Time position (1.0 FTE) working Monday - Friday. This position will allow for growth opportunities within the HR department.

Pay is based on previous experience. Full benefits available including IPERS.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or healthcare administration is preferred. One year experience working in human resources required and in healthcare is preferred. SHRM certification not required but preferable.

  • Must have excellent computer skills to include:

  • Microsoft Word

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Outlook

  • Attention to detail is a must, have excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task on a daily basis.

  • Must have the utmost respect for confidentiality of information.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as Employee Benefits Coordinator meeting with employees to discuss benefit options. Coordinates benefit changes and research answers to benefit related inquiries. Works with benefit broker.

  • Assists in posting job orders, interview process, along with full onboarding process of new employees including but not limited to pre-employment appointments, new hire paperwork, background check processing, orientation and obtaining computer access.

  • Troubleshoots employee computer related issues

  • Runs required reports as requested

  • Assists with recruitment and retention efforts

  • Assists with Employee Experience Committee
