Description SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Reporting Managers, this associate is responsible for supporting the Relationship Managers in all phases of the commercial relationship management process, including acquiring and closing new loan originations and renewals, portfolio administration, as well as providing customer service to clients and working with internal departments and partners on both product/service delivery and resolution of issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare proposal and commitment letter Assist in the scheduling of appointments and maintenance of the calendar as requested Prepare loan documents through the use of Laser Pro Software or coordination with outside legal counsel File appropriate documents (mortgages, UCC, etc) once they are signed and process appropriate disbursement requests; forward the completed loan package to Commercial Loan Servicing for booking on the system. Follow up on document and financial exceptions as needed Assist with month-end reporting as requested Monitor delinquencies and notify the Reporting Manager of those that will be 30 days or longer delinquent at month's end Monitor daily NSF's Assist with loan portfolio reviews Assist with delinquency collection, matured loans, and other account maintenance Respond to and resolve customer and branch service issues, (both loan and deposit), by researching issue and working with appropriate Bank areas to resolve problem Participate in client calls as appropriate Order departmental supplies and support office equipment Coordinate ordering of appraisals, title work, flood searches, and other tasks as needed Daily monitor the loan maturity forecast report Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) NMLS certification may be required (or obtained upon hire) Minimum of three (3) years administrative support experience in a lending department; Commercial lending concept and loan documentation preferred Knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet navigation/research, and Outlook is expected Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Qualifications Education High School (required) Skills Administrative Assistant (preferred) Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
