Naval Air Systems Command SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in Orlando Naval Warfare Center, Florida

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager in the GT30000 Acquisition Management Department of NAWCTSD ORLANDO. This position has a control point of GS-14 Step 10. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $122,198 to $158,860 This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: 12453541. Responsibilities You will analyze needs and requirements information necessary for the development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning. You will assure that initial and long-range program objectives comply with requirements of the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and Foreign Military Sales customers. You will identify program office and competency area support needed to meet assigned program requirements. You will direct programmatic tasking to sub-tier IPTs and delegates product decision authority to appropriate sub-tier team leaders. You will manage the accomplishment of test, technical and analytical studies required to meet program objectives. You will ensure the analysis of system, subsystem and component performance in relation to required performance specifications. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level (GS-13/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Developing/executing acquisition resources as demonstrated by a working knowledge of contents and application of each in managing a program and leading a program management team, 2) Demonstrated superior knowledge and proficiency with integrated master schedules, risk management, and earned value management, 3) Superior knowledge and proficiency in Program Management as demonstrated by the understanding and application of tools and documents needed to plan, direct, assess and/or communicate a program's health (Acquisition Strategy, Systems Acquisition and sustainment).
