The Workforce Planning Director will be responsible for analyzing work seasonality, contract labor, events, and diagnosing trends that drive innovative staffing strategies for Travel + Leisure operations. This role will lead our deployment of UKG Pro Workforce Management Dimensions and be the key business partner for field operations, and Corporate. Having high visibility and working hands on with senior leaders, this role will help shape a more agile and scalable workforce.
How You’ll Shine:
Implementation of UKG Dimensions, specifically on forecasting and scheduling.
Develop and execute on a workforce planning strategic plan. Considering business needs, determine the future roadmap for Workforce Analytics,
Key advisory role to the CHRO, senior HR and Business leaders through communication of synthesized labor utilization data and course of action recommendations
Demonstrate relationships with internal business partners to proactively identify and provide consultation on operational performance opportunities related to scheduling, forecasting and capacity planning
Responsible for Executive level (CHRO, Senior HR, and Business Leaders) summaries and insights on labor performance and short/long-term staffing positions.
Consultative and advisory capacity to executive management on strategic and tactical workload and resource planning design and implementation
Leads aspects of statistical analysis to validate effectiveness and efficiency of plans, strategies, and decisions, in support of coordinated workload modeling.
Coordinates gathering of quantitative and qualitative data; Approves data collection guidelines and methodologies.
Maintains an understanding of company business operations and goals and provides information on how workload strategies impact performance goals.
Works with Finance partners to align business strategies with financial impacts and incorporate them into the financial planning cycles.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business or industrial engineering
5+ years’ experience in work force planning/Workforce Analytics management, delivering value in Analytics roles, ideally at organizations with progressive approaches to the field which have provided exposure to latest Workforce Analytics practices
Business Acumen - ability to understand the context of the data and relate analytical insights to real business challenges and opportunities
Communication - aptitude to communicate complex data and insights in a succinct and compelling way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Adept at creating the 'story' which weaves together data into a compelling message.
Ability to generate innovative insights from analysis, communicates results effectively, and work with business partners in developing and implementing new methodologies and analysis to drive actionable results.
Experience establishing project deliverables, deadlines, schedule status, performance tracking, and critical path reporting and analysis.
