Schedule: Full Time
Shift: Full time; Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Location: Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista, FL

AdventHealth Centra Care’s board-certified physicians provide adult and pediatric care when you need it.
Our urgent care clinics are open 7 days a week and can treat a wide range of non-life-threatening conditions.
We are equipped with x-ray, prescription, and lab services.
Centra Care is the affordable alternative to the emergency room for urgent conditions like broken bones, infections, allergies, stomach problems and pediatric concerns.
The role you’ll contribute:
The Transportation Supervisor who under the general direction of the Director(s), has responsibility and accountability for directing all activities related to transportation of patients. Responsible for personnel, environmental/material control, and supervising all activities of the transportation department. Coordinates operating activities with other departments and centers as necessary. Fills in for the Center Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence. Must be able to be “on-call” for all transportation issues. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. This position actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

· Responsible for recruiting, staffing, orienting, training, disciplining, and evaluating personnel in accordance to personnel policy and employee relations laws. Reviews employee time and attendance and monitors employee staffing, turnover, overtime, and absenteeism.
· Responsible for fiscal management of the Transportation operation including development and implementation of annual budget, cost management and accounts payable.
· Maintains the safe and efficient operation of the Transportation Department by monitoring equipment safety, overseeing vendors, and making appropriate recommendations for new equipment vehicles. Investigates and responds appropriately to all complaints and takes effective corrective action and involves the appropriate parties as necessary.
· Reviews and prepares statistical reports and submits to the Corporate Office as well as other hospital departments on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Generates reports for Interdepartmental Transfer of Transportation costs to the appropriate cost centers.
· Performs a wide range of duties in support of the total department.
· Demonstrates the capability to communicate effectively with patients ranging in age from adulthood through geriatrics.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· Minimum 6 months of supervisor experience in the department and/or AdventHealth
· Thorough knowledge of transportation operations in the service area.
· Knowledge of the tourism area as well as familiarity with the attractions First Aid Facilities preferred.
· Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail software programs.
· Aptitude for strong organizational skills
· Ability to work with people of various backgrounds.
· High school diploma or equivalency, College Degree preferred
· Experience in management and/or AdventHealth Centra Care operations preferred.
· Must maintain current CPR certification at all times. If certification is not current at time of hire, the employee must obtain a valid card within their first ninety days.
· Valid State of Florida Class “E” license.
· Three year safe record with appropriate licensing.
