Burgess & Niple Traffic Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Traffic Engineer Responsibilities
- As part of a project team, collaborate on plan production to produce quality plans, specifications that follow agency standards and guidelines
- Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation, OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD software
- Complete design tasks and produce high quality plans, specifications, and estimate deliverables to create an exemplary client experience
- Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software
- Collaborate with engineering staff on technical challenges while adhering to task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
- EI/EIT registration in the State of Florida
- 2+ years of progressive technical experience plan development for traffic engineering design projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microstation, OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD software required
- Communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
