Description
Managment Resources is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager for short term remote project. The Technical Accounting Manager will be responsible for, ASC 606 –Set up the deferred revenue and go-forward revenue recognition for upfront franchise fees, along with reviewing contracts and setting up the process and ASC 842 – Review lease agreements and clean up application of 842.
Requirements
• Proven experience in the Service industry
• Proficiency in ASC 606 and ASC 842
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of accounting theory and principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage large amounts of data
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments.
