Lockheed Martin Supply Chain Planner/Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description:

You will be the Supply Chain Planner for the Production Planning and Control team. The Production Planning & Control (PP&C) organization is a critical component of Lockheed Martin's manufacturing operations, responsible for developing and executing plans to produce high-quality products on time and within budget. As a key enabler of production success, PP&C teams work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize production schedules, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Supply Chain Planner, your responsibilities will include:

-Performing one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions.

-Maintain production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost.

-Expedite and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.

-Coordinate with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule.

-Coordinate with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.

-Maintain MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university

SAP ERP experience

Past experience with manufacturing shop floor planning and/or supply chain planning for purchased components.

Working knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

Degree focused in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.

Works independently and in a collaborative and team-based environment

Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities

Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.

Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas

Lean Six Sigma Green belt trained and or certified

Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists

ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification

Bill of Material (BOM) experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
