As part of CACI’s National Security and Innovations (NSIS) Sector, SA Photonics, specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex, state-of-the-art systems for military, space, and commercial applications. Our products include optical and RF communication systems. We are currently looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join the Operations group and lead our Supply Chain team.

What You’ll Get to Do:
Develop a cohesive and integrated vision for Supply chain capabilities and the organization’s near-term and long-term roadmap. Drive the development of a supply chain strategy including subcontracting, outsourcing, and demand / supply planning.
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure the Supply Chain strategy is aligned with corporate goals. Actively communicate with and constructively work across various departments and program teams to achieve required goals.
Mentor and train staff members and foster a healthy team environment through coaching, performance management, career development, and allocation and prioritization of work.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Program Management, and the Commodity Managers regarding the supplier strategy including the selection and qualification of new suppliers, and the monitoring of supplier performance through the quarterly scorecard program.
Establish strong partnerships with vendors/suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of manufacturing products for improved performance metrics. Play an active role in negotiations with key suppliers and manufacturing partners to secure critical components in the supply chain
More About the Role:
Serve as the primary point of responsibility for materials management and supply chain planning strategy for the entire site.Serve as the leader for all programs’ Supply Chain activities and is the liaison between the Program Manager(s), other functional leads, and the Supply Chain organization.
Ensure optimization of materials management activities including scheduling, purchasing, contract manufacturing, inventory planning, warehousing, supplier performance measurement, and indirect materials management. Expedite material to ensure on time deliveries to maintain production and program schedules.
Communicate and implement relevant metrics to measure and evaluate supply chain operations, including those related to cost, schedule and quality. Facilitate monthly/quarterly reviews to evaluate performance and identify continual improvement opportunities.
Direct all purchasing and material planning, as well as, and shipping/receiving and logistics activities including distribution, outsourcing, and subcontracting to ensure that products are on time with consistent quality. Organize activities & assigning jobs accordingly to the staff requirements.
Plan , organize, and conduct the annual physical inventory and reconcile results to ensure compliance with financial reporting and government property regulations.
Participate and drive Program Performance Reviews, Supply Chain Risk & Opportunity Reviews, and Product Engineering Reviews.
Provide subject matter expertise to an on-going project working to consolidate existing product-line specific MRP & PLM platforms into an enterprise-wide solution.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
10+ years of supply chain management experience in an ISO-9001 certified organization with 7 - 10 years successfully leading supply chain teams. Prior experience in an AS9100 certified organization a plus.
10+ years Sourcing, Purchasing, and Materials Management experience in a high mix, low to medium volume manufacturing environment. Large and small-company experience, in in a rapid-change environment supporting multiple development programs.
Proven track record of team leadership, staff mentoring, cross functional relationship building, and continual improvement. A strong leader with demonstrated project management, critical thinking skills; will be directly accountable for ensuring overall Supply Chain objectives across multiple product focused business groups.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Routinely engages in independent thought and judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria
Self-starter and a team player. Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
Prior experience with ITAR regulations, FAR/DFARS requirements, and the DCMA Government Property audit, a plus.
Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering)

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,200 - $163,300
