NBC Universal Senior Representative, Integrated Media Strategy & Offline Activation in Orlando, Florida

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Representative, Integrated Media Strategy & Offline Activation for Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) responsibilities include support from conception to delivery of innovative, well-targeted and strategic integrated media plans for UDX domestic destinations in collaboration with our Senior Managers of Planning and Activation, and our agency of record. This requires the ability to understand the marketplace / media industry, internal client needs, and state-of-the business (short- and long-term). The integrated media plans will be charged with delivering upon measurable KPIs.

On the strategy & planning side, this role will support budget reconciliation & maintenance and media plan creation & adjustments, including communication to internal partners. They will also support gathering data for reports on spend & partner support details, contributing to the health of our media analytics, and the health and accuracy of media planning/activation software.

On the activation side, this role will be responsible for ensuring all creative assets and messaging across all offline channels are trafficked & activated accurately and on-time. They will also support the Senior Manager, Offline Activation in ensuring all asset requests are complete and specs up-to-date within our project management software. They will also assist in maintaining calendar of activation across various documents, systems and touchpoints.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Integrated Media Strategy team on overall integrated media strategy, budget allocation & budget reconciliation for all media plans.

  • Ensure assets for offline activation are requested, to spec, via project management software and then trafficked and activated on-time.

  • Support select internal partners’ media plan development & activation.

  • Support the creation & management of offline activation processes.

  • Support data gathering & reporting on budgets, partner support, TV measurement, etc.

  • Foster day-to-day relationships with external agencies and internal partners.

  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university, focused in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar.

    EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years minimum of marketing experience with a focus on the media industry and/or experience in integrated media strategy/planning.

  • Business acumen in marketing with budget experience is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of all media channels is preferred.

  • Experience working in a media planning software and in project management software, WorkFront, a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
